The Chevy Chase Land Company of Montgomery County, Maryland is a 120-year-old development and property management company located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Company is distinguished from other property management firms by its historic background and by the tradition of managing its own properties.

The Chairman of the Board of the Company, Gavin M. Farr, was the great-grandson of Senator Francis G. Newlands, founder of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Under Mr. Farr's direction, the Company continued to fulfill Senator Newlands' vision. Today, The Chevy Chase Land Company owns and manages two million square feet of office buildings, retail, and warehouse complexes in Washington, DC, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia, residential properties in Montgomery County and four office buildings in Richmond, Virginia.

The Chevy Chase Land Company has made substantial contributions to the community over the years, including the $100,000 rehabilitation and rededication of the memorial fountain in Chevy Chase Circle in 1990; a donation of $75,000 to Chevy Chase Elementary School for its Audiovisual Wing, and a $50,000 project at the Chevy Chase Library to accommodate the Chevy Chase Historical Society. The Land Company also assisted the National Capital Trolley Museum with funding after a devastating fire in September 2003.
