The Chevy Chase Land Company of Montgomery County, Maryland is a 114-year old development and property management company located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Company is distinguished from other property management firms by its historic background and by the tradition of managing its own properties.

The Chairman of the Board of the Company, Gavin M. Farr, is the great-grandson of Senator Newlands, founder of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Under Mr. Farr's direction, the Company continues to fulfill Senator Newlands vision. Today, the Chevy Chase Land Company owns and manages two million square feet of office buildings, retail, and warehouse complexes in Washington DC, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia, residential properties in Montgomery County, and four office buildings in Richmond, Virginia.

The Chevy Chase Land Company has made substantial contributions to the community over the years, including the rehabilitation and rededication of the memorial fountain in Chevy Chase Circle in 1990 for over $100,00.00; donating $75,000.00 to Chevy Chase Elementary School for their Audiovisual Wing; building out the basement of the Chevy Chase Library to accommodate the Chevy Chase Historical Society at a cost over $50,000.00.  The Land Company also assisted the National Capital Trolley Museum with funding after a devastating fire in September 2003.
