Horwitz Cornwell, Senior Vice President
Michele
Horwitz Cornwell is
the Senior Vice President in charge of Asset Management at the
Chevy Chase Land Company of Montgomery County, Maryland. Ms.
Cornwell oversees the management of the Company's two million square-foot
portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Maryland,
Virginia and the District of Columbia. She has been with
the Company for over twenty years.
Ms.
Cornwell is the current Chair of the Bethesda Urban Partnership;
immediate past Chair of the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber
of Commerce; and a Director on the Board of the Coalition to
Build the Inner Purple Line. Ms. Cornwell
previously served as the Chair of the Friendship Heights Transportation
Management District Advisory Committee, and continues as a representative
of the Friendship Heights Task Force. She is also a 2004 graduate
of the Leadership Montgomery program.
Ms.
Cornwell was a member of the International Honor Society in Social
Sciences and graduated from Western Maryland College in 1983 with
a BA in Political Science. She received an MA in Urban Studies from
the University of Maryland in 1985.
A
native of Montgomery County, Ms. Cornwell currently lives in Rockville
with her husband and four sons. |
