Lucinda M. Kent, Assistant Treasurer, Controller Lucinda M. Kent is Assistant Treasurer and Controller at the Chevy Chase Land Company of Montgomery County, Maryland. Ms. Kent currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and its staff. She has almost twenty years experience in financial management, reporting and supervision for the real estate and land development industries. Ms. Kent has been with the Company for ten years. Prior joining the Company accounting department in August 1997, Ms. Kent held various accounting positions in real estate and construction. Before her relocation to the metropolitan Washington DC area, she was a staff accountant for CWC Builders, Inc., a New England company specializing in historical restorations of real property. Ms. Kent's professional career in business finance began as a staff accountant for the city of Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Kent is the current Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Friendship Heights. She has served on many other community, business, and charitable committees. Ms. Kent received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Providence College in 1984 and received her CPA in 2005. Ms. Kent is a native of Rhode Island. She currently lives in Lanham with her husband and two sons. |
